We support educators in designing more inclusive, flexible, and engaging learning experiences through practical applications of Universal Design for Learning. This includes writing clear, learner-centered objectives, identifying and reducing barriers in lessons, activities, and materials, and redesigning instruction using UDL principles. Support can also include developing choice boards, flexible assessments, accessible instructional materials, and strategies for multilingual and multilevel classrooms. We help instructors strengthen engagement across online, hybrid, and face-to-face settings through professional development, workshops, individual or team coaching, and practical UDL tools that can be used immediately in the classroom.
Our Approach
Clearly identify what learners should know, understand, or be able to do by the end of the learning experience.
Consider what barriers might make it difficult for learners to access the content, participate in the learning experience, or demonstrate what they know and can do.
Provide purposeful options and supports that give learners multiple pathways for successfully reaching the learning objective.
